About this video
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 11th Comptroller Squadron participate in a combat fitness test as part of Exercise Iron Ledger at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, Oct. 28, 2026. The timed physical assessment challenged finance Airmen to navigate high-intensity, combat-related movements, such as 800-meter sprints, high-and-low crawls, weighted vest push-ups, and buddy carries, to evaluate their functional fitness and stamina under operational physical stress. Iron Ledger is an initiative established by the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller designed to focus the career field on expeditionary operations, preparing finance specialists to operate in austere, contested environments alongside warfighters.
