JROTC Raider teams compete in the JROTC National Raider Challenge at Fort Knox, Kentucky Oct. 22-25, 2026. The JROTC National Raider Challenge is the annual championship event hosted by U.S. Army Cadet Command at Fort Knox, with nearly 4,000 Army JROTC cadets from high schools across the country competing to be the best Raider team in the nation. Throughout the competition cadets negotiated multiple obstacle courses, ran more than five km, tested their practical knowledge learned in JROTC and created a one-rope-bridge for time. These events demanded both physical and mental excellence from these young Americans.
