About this video
The Hawaiʻi and Oregon National Guards, Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. Pacific Command joined the Republic of Korea Army for a multilateral reserve readiness exchange in South Korea, Sept. 8–11, 2026. The engagement focused on strengthening reserve force capabilities through advanced training, technology integration and the exchange of best practices in support of South Korea's Defense Reform 2040 initiative. Building upon the Hawaiʻi National Guard's longstanding partnership with the Philippines through the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program, the exchange reinforced military cooperation, interoperability and shared commitments to developing resilient, future-ready reserve forces across the Indo-Pacific.
