About this video

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 525th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron and 525th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit conduct F-22 Raptor flight and maintenance operations as U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron arrive at Tsuiki Air Base, Japan, Oct. 26, 2026, during Exercise Keen Sword 27 (KS27). Despite rainy weather conditions, Airmen adapted to shifting flight schedules and sustained aircraft operations into the night, demonstrating their ability to maintain mission readiness in a dynamic environment. KS27 is a routine, biennial bilateral field training exercise with multinational participation, designed to increase readiness and interoperability between the U.S. military and Japan Self-Defense Forces while strengthening the ironclad U.S.-Japan Alliance.
