About this video
Jungle Operations Training Course (JOTC) students participate in squad jungle contact drills during JOTC at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Oct. 15, 2026. The training develops squad-level tactics, communication and immediate-action responses to simulated enemy contact in dense jungle environments where limited visibility and restrictive terrain challenge maneuverability. The drills strengthen small-unit cohesion and tactical proficiency while preparing service members for more complex squad-level situational training exercises and the course culminating exercise.
