About this video
U.S. Air National Guard airmen assigned to the 111th Contingency Response Squadron participate in a two-day skills rodeo at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, Oct. 16-17, 2026. The training included hands-on instruction in tactical vehicle operations, field communications, cargo preparation, weapons familiarization, tactical combat casualty care, night vision equipment and airfield operations. The exercise allowed airmen to develop skills outside their primary career fields, strengthening their ability to work across specialties and support the rapid establishment of airfield operations during contingency missions.
