About this video
This video highlights the Tactical Field Readiness Training Center (TFRTC) at Fort Lee, Virginia, a flagship initiative designed to bridge the gap between institutional training and operational execution.
The TFRTC provides Soldiers with an environment to translate foundational training into combat-credible tactical food service capabilities, preparing them to operate effectively in austere and contested environments in support of Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO).
At the Joint Culinary Training Department (JCTD), the TFRTC builds combat-credible teams at echelon and serves as an integral component of the 92G Culinary Specialist AIT experience. Through hands-on, mission-focused training, Soldiers develop the technical proficiency, tactical awareness, teamwork, and adaptability required to execute tactical feeding operations beyond the institutional environment.
The TFRTC represents the Army’s continued commitment to modernizing food service training, strengthening readiness, and preparing 92G Soldiers to sustain the force wherever the mission demands.
