About this video
Approximately 100 U.S. servicemembers — spanning the active Army, Army National Guard and Army as well as the Air Force and Navy — took part in the Joint Medical Operations Course - Basic at the C.W. Bill Young Armed Forces Reserve at the AR-MEDCOM location, Sept. 21-25, 2026.
U.S. Army Reserve Maj. Olga Elias, a family nurse practitioner and staff officer for the Pinellas Park, Fla., based Army Reserve Medical Command, explained how JMOC-B is integral to the augmentation of interoperability and readiness across all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, all the while conducive to her own professional growth and development.
By establishing an interconnected network of U.S. service members across the military medical continuum, JMOC-B ensures to provide combat ready Army Reserve Soldiers to operate in tandem with the Total Force in large-scale combat operations and large-scale mobilization operations.
