U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Robert D. Davis, commander of the Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Command Region, Alaskan Command and Eleventh Air Force, delivers a recap of the heightened campaign season for Operation TUNDRA MERLIN. Throughout the heightened campaign season, TUNDRA MERLIN integrated approximately 1,300 personnel from two nations and eight services, 30 U.S. Air Force and Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft, eight U.S. and Canadian naval vessels, a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and AN/TPQ-53 radar system. TUNDRA MERLIN is an enduring campaign that integrates assigned forces and prepares them to deter potential threats and if necessary, defeat them in the Alaskan theater of operations.
