Soldiers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 2nd Field Artillery Regiment participate in the Best Section Competition at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Sept. 8-10, 2026. Over the course of the multi-day competition, Soldiers were tested in events designed to measure physical fitness, weapons proficiency, medical skills, teamwork and artillery operations. Featured events included the Red Leg Gauntlet, E3B weapons and medical lanes, and a live-fire artillery exercise, culminating in a closing ceremony recognizing the top-performing section. The competition highlights the battalion’s focus on readiness, lethality and disciplined execution.
