EAST CAMDEN, Ark. -- An Arkansas National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk races across the sky, Sept. 16, 2026, to drop water on a wildfire in Calhoun County, Arkansas. Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders mobilized two Black Hawk helicopters and two bulldozers to assist the Arkansas Forestry Division as it leads the effort to extinguish a wildfire encroaching on the 19,000-acre Highland Industrial Park here. The park is home to several defense contractors that build numerous high-tech weapons used by the Department of War. As of early this morning, the Black Hawks have dropped more than 48,000 gallons of water, helping drive 65% containment of the wildfire.
