The maneuver brings the demonstrators together in a vertical stack under canopy before all jumpers break away in opposite directions, trailing smoke to open the pattern above show center. The jump supported the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion Syracuse. Formed in 1959, the Golden Knights perform roughly two hundred and fifty days a year in support of U.S. Army recruiting and community outreach.
