U.S. service members, veterans, military families and installation personnel experience the attractions and aerial demonstrations held during the practice day of the Arctic Thunder Open House at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 7, 2026. Held biennially by JBER, ATOH is the largest two-day event in the state and one of the premiere aerial demonstrations in the world. The event features multiple performers, including the JBER Joint Forces Demonstration Team, the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration team, the Pacific Air Forces C-17 Demonstration Team and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
