Under this notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to relocate chiller supply/return pipes and electrical conduits overhead at the CSSC Fish Dispersal Barrier in Lockport, IL. Work includes installing new CPVC, conduits, Unistrut supports, insulation, and refilling glycol. For any issues related to registration or other technical difficulties, offerors must contact the PIEE helpdesk directly (866-618-5988) and not the Contracting Officer.****Technical Difficulties: Prospective vendors may experience difficulties, either because the PIEE system is not operational, the vendor has not properly registered in PIEE, or the vendor is encountering other technical difficulties. In the unlikely event that the PIEE system is not operational, and vendors are unable to access or use the system, offerors must immediately notify the Contracting Officer and provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate the system is not operable. If the PIEE Solicitation Module is indeed down, the Contracting Officer may authorize an alternate method for bid submission, such as via email to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist. However, offerors must obtain prior approval from the Contracting Officer to use the alternate submission method. Notifications and approvals must occur prior to the submission deadline and be in writing.****PIEE System Registration: Your firm must register with sam.gov as a pre-requirement to do business with the federal government and prior to registering with the DoD Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). Your firm must register with PIEE in order to access the solicitation and submit quote responses. Use the PIEE System Registration link: https://piee.eb.mil, and follow the instructions on their website. What this source notice establishes

The label describes explicit language in the synchronized official notice. A protest-related notice does not establish a GAO ruling, protest disposition or procurement violation. Follow-on or recompete language is not independent confirmation of an approved future procurement.

No winning company, loss by a particular company, transaction obligation or total contract value is inferred from the title or narrative. Silence, expiration, cancellation and another company’s award are not treated as a company loss.

This is a dated reference, not a claim that a notice was posted today. Removal from the active opportunity feed does not itself withdraw a historical notice. STN rechecks the latest completed stored source snapshot for this notice, including corrections and withholding decisions, before serving this page. Unavailable evidence is not replaced by a demonstration record.
